Degree Show

After 3 years studying a BA in Textile design at Heriot Watt University in the Scottish Borders its finally time for the degree show! Everyone’s work looks fantastic! So excited!

How time flies. I have absolutely loved studying in Galashiels it is a lovely area and I have met lots of fantastic people through my years of studying.

Hi Everyone,

Thought I’d update you all. I am now in my final year of University and specialising in woven fabrics for interiors. I enjoy looking through trend books and sites and making woven fabrics inspired by my own artwork. I hope to have a few collection ideas that I can start to produce as items on my own loom and sell eventually. During the meantime I will show things I have produced whilst being at university in my spare time for Hannah’s Botanicals, and also things I have done at university which inspire me.

The purses and bags I create are all inspired by Nature. I love Nature and I am inspired by all the endless possibilities.

I hope that one of them catches your eye and you feel inspired as much as I was when I was creating them.

Just Starting up

My names Hannah, I am studying BA Textile design for Fashion Interior Art in Galashiels. Just started this summer designing a few bags and purses etc for my blog and thought I would create a website where people can enquire and purchase a few of my items. I only have a few items at the moment but keep your eyes open as I will be creating much, much more!
